| It
all started with a late-night episode of The Simpsons
and a lot of pizza just before bedtime. Those of
you familiar with The Simpsons may recall the episode
where Lisa Simpson, the curator of the Springfield
History Museum and Chief Wiggam dig up the body
of Jebediah Springfield to see if Jebediah really
had (according to legend) a silver tongue. After
opening the coffin, Chief Wiggam uses the skull
of Jebediah in an impromptu ventriloquist routine.
That was the point where I drifted off to sleep
in front of the TV.
Those of you familiar with pizza just before bedtime
may recall how lots of cheese in your belly isn¹t
conducive to a good night¹s sleep. In fact,
it¹s just the kind of thing that could turn
an otherwise funny image of Chief Wiggam with a
skull for a ventriloquist¹s dummy into the
character in this series.
